DAWAH
The Sahabas and Sahabiyaats had many
qualities in their lives. If we take a few of these qualities
and bring them into our lives then Inshallah it will be easier
for us to follow upon the rest of Deen.
1 KALIMA (Faith).
2. SALAAH (Prayers)
3. ILM AND ZIK'R (Knowledge and
Remembiance).
4. IKRAAM E MUSLIMEEN (Honour of
Muslims)
5. IKHLAAS E NEEYAT (Sincerity of
Intention).
6. DAWAT-E-ILLALLAH (To spread the word
of Allah)
FAITH: The meaning of LA ILAHA ILALLAH
MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH, is that: there is noneworthy of worship
besides Allah and Muhammad (SAW) is the messenger of
Allah.
There are four parts of belief in this
Kalima.
The first two are: la ilaha illalah, to
believe that Allah does everything without the help of the
entire creation but the creation can't do anything without the
help of Allah.
The second two are: Muhammadur Rasulullah, to believe that if
we have nothing of this world but we follow the ways of the
Prophet (SAW) then we will be successtul in this world and the
hereafter, but if we have everything of this world and we don't
follow the ways of the Prophet (SAW) then we will be
unsuccessful in this world and the hereafter.
It is stated in ahadith that Hazarat Zaid Bin Aqram (RA)
narrates that he heard Raslullah (SAW) say that "one who
recites la ilaha illalah with sincerity will enter paradise."
Someone asked, "what is the sign of sincerity?" - He replied
"It prevents one from indulging in forbidden things" in order
to get the strong Imaan (Faith) of the Kalima into our hearts
we have to invite others, to it, by speaking, hearing, thinking
and by praying dua about the greatness of Allah.
This, we will get by reading Hadith's at
home and by regularly attending the weekly taleem. We should
speak of Hell and Paradise as often as we can. Whatever worldly
things we see, we must ponder over the wonderful creations of
Almighty Allah.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) narrates that:
"meditation for a short duration is better than worship
throughout the night."
Hazrat Anas (RA) narrates that
"meditation over the creation of Allah is better than doing
worship for eighty years."
We have to pray to Allah to give us the
reality of the Kalima into our lives.
PRAYERS: The aim of "Salaah is that we
must perform five times daily prayers and to bring the quality
into our 24 hour daily life - just as when we indulge in our
prayers, we don't talk, look around, are covered appropriately,
nor do as we please. We do what Allah requires by following his
commands and the ways of the Prophet (SAW). Like wise, our life
outside Salaah, while doing our day to day routine, we should
do it according to the commands of Allah - It is stated in
ahadith that Allah bestows five favours upon a person who is
mindful of his Salaah:
His daily bread is made easy for
him.
He is saved from the punishment of the grave.
He shall receive his record of deeds in his right hand.
On the day of Judgement, he shall cross the bridge of Siraat
with the speed of lighting.
He shall enter Paradise without reckoning.
